Basecode was founded by Adam Alesandro in 2024 to address technology needs in the alternative asset and private fund management industries. Prior to starting Basecode, Adam founded Signalbase, a successful software and infrastructure consultancy providing a range of services to many of the largest hedge and private equity funds in the world. In addition, Adam has held executive roles at several private funds and service providers. After a brief retirement, Adam felt that there was still a strong need to provide services and tools to the private fund industry as a whole and began to plan a return to industry.
